After receiving my Associate's Degree in Farm Machinery Repair and Maintenance from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, I was employed as mechanic and service manager for a John Deere dealership for twelve years. In addition to our farming operations, my brother, Don, and I started Johnson Brothers Repair in 1994. Listening to the needs of our growing clientele, we added the Snapper line of quality lawn equipment in 2002. |
| I graduated from a two-year technical school in Northeast Iowa in farm mechanics and worked for a local John Deere dealership for almost nine years. I left the dealership when I got the opportunity to farm. My brother, Roger, and I started our own implement repair shop in 1994, and in 2002 we started to sell and repair Snapper lawn equipment. My hobbies include collecting John Deere memorabilia and repairing/restoring farm toys and pedal tractors for others. |
